We were extremely pleased with our Long Island Decking experience. Jay designed a deck that fit or budget, but also made the most of our space. The job was completed in just 3 days and was done before the deadline we had given them (what contractor EVER actually finishes a job ON TIME?) The deck turned out beautifully and we can not wait to get a lot of use out of it in the future.
We love our new deck and patio that Long Island Decking planned and built for us. They were helpful, creative and patient with us every step along the way. The building team was skilled and reliable. The owner and other staff were easily available to answer all our questions. We would definitely recommend hiring Long Island Decking in any deck project you can think of!
From design to completion, Jay and the Long Island Decking team did a fantastic job. All of workers were professional, timely and efficient. Both the trex deck, the pergola and the cement pavers all look great. My first party on the deck this past weekend was a great success. Everybody raved about it. I am know looking for projects next year for the Long Island Decking team to further enhance my backyard. Thanks Again!
Jay, Jose and their crew were amazing! Work started on time as contracted. All personnel were professional and courteous. The quality of work completed was excellent and they built an amazingly beautiful deck. The premises were left spotless and the cleanup was to my satisfaction. I highly recommend L.I.Decking for quality, craftsmanship, promptness, and overall for answering any and all of my (or my wife's) questions.
My deck came out in pristine condition. There was a miscommunication in the initial plans, but Jay Oliver had personally fixed things and designed our deck perfectly. My wife and I are very happy with the final product and service and without a doubt, recommend the company to anyone interested. Also, their work staff is phenomenal! Its always great to see professionals working on their perfected craft.

How Our Consultations Work

For over 2 decades, we have created stunning projects that endure by utilizing premium, low maintenance building materials. Although price ranges vary among project types, replacing a deck or adding a porch room requires a significant investment. We hope that after reviewing our galleries and videos and reading our philosophy and approach you’ll feel it’s worth seeing what we can design for you. Here’s how our full design workflow works:
  1. INITIAL SITE VISIT: We’ll visit your home to discuss your project goals and take the required measurements for our internal design work.
  2. FEASIBILITY STUDY: We will consider zoning issues, building code requirements, and other technical aspects that may affect your project.
  3. DESIGN PHASE: We will develop a few different design options for your project based on our initial site visit.
  4. BUDGET PREP: We will contact you on the phone to discuss the budget prior to sending you a detailed text-based scope of work for each design concept.
  5. SELECTIONS: Having received accurate budgets for several design renderings and being comfortable with the investment required, we will meet with you again at your home with those design renderings, make changes and tweaks to your liking, and check out a variety of deck and railing options in person.
  6. AGREEMENT: With an exact design and scope of work defined, we will create an agreement, put your project into our schedule and begin the process for you.
